A Stop and Smell the Roses Moment!
I follow an interesting, kind, young woman named Amber Vilhauer. Â Per her website:Â Amber Vilhauer (formerly Ludwig) is an online business development expert who supports authors, speakers and coaches to establish a powerful, integrated online presence that gets results and empowers them to make a difference in their industry.
Today she sent out an email saying she was visiting her family in Arizona.  She wasn’t selling anything, just inhaling the joys of being home, and being grateful for the blessings in her life.
At the end of the email she encouraged her readers to let her know what made them happy in life, so I did just that. Â She, in turn, suggested I share my list with others. Â Here it is:
What am I grateful for?
–The sound of my husband’s heart as my head rests upon his chest, and the way his hand seeks out mine.
–The way our pets amuse and educate me.
–The growing list of imperfections that I’m mostly okay with!
–The women who have emerged in my life as supporters and mentors.
–The opportunities to make my life, well, MY life.
–The goals set and achieved, and for the goals incubating in my soul.
–I am grateful for family, abundant health, spiritual beliefs, and opportunities to give back.
–I am thankful for you, Amber, and your generous spirit. You inspire me!
I am thankful for all things big and small that make up the best part of my day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
