What the “L”? Lovely, lovable, luscious, Laura!
It is my pleasure to introduce the August Silk Scarf Contest ambush model…the lovely, the talented, the hilariously witty, Laura Martin! (Beat the drums and throw the confetti!)
I first met Laura when I visited KBEK’s radio studio (http://www.kbek.com), Braham, MN, to ambush Linda Cullen Gallagher. The gleam in Laura’s eyes told me we were kindred spirits, and, as it turns out, we grew up not too terribly far apart in central Minnesota. Let’s just say her school was a rival of my school back in the day, although we never crossed paths that I am aware of.
Laura embodies everything I applaud in the second half of life, including a generous measure of sass. Tune in to KBEK 95.5 and you will love Laura too.
