I’m not great about letting my little light shine. As a child I was told people who brag, or mainly feel good about themselves because they are brag worthy, go to hell. Even now, when given a compliment, I duck my head and begin to explain why the praise and complimentary person are wrong. I know. I’m messed up. Try to love me anyway?
Now that you know about this dark place within me, please understand when I quietly shout my happiness that an assortment of my photographs, greeting cards, and coloring books are for sale in a kick-butt store in Ely, Minnesota. Ely! Who doesn’t adore Ely? It is one of the super coolest spots in Minnesota, and you can interpret that however you want.
The name of the store is Timber Ridge Trading Company. It offers an eclectic assortment of antiques, cabin-worthy decorations, unique art, and oodles of personality. Walk in, browse, and chat with whoever is on staff. You will not regret the visit!
Huge, over the top thanks to David Wigdahl for making this happen. You da best my friend!

Gail, I am thrilled for you! This is such an awesome accomplishment and recognition of your talents – yes “talents” plural. (Small note though, this is all possible because of you and your brilliant abilities; David W. is fortunate to know you and showcase your products in his establishment. You can do it – brag about yourself just a little bit each day . . . -smile- . . . your hard work deserves your own acknowledgement too.)

Hi Carrie!
I was just thinking about you the other day! How have you been? Obviously, your cat has not killed you in your sleep yet. 🙂 While I take your words straight to my heart, talking myself up will always be a challenge for me. Thank you for those beautiful comments.
