“We must find time to stop and thank the people
who make a difference in our lives.â€
― John F. Kennedy
150 tents speckled the town of Marine On The St. Croix like puffy earth clouds. Instead of rain, however, the earth clouds contained artists, art, and hope.  Jewelry, paintings, photography, pottery, scarves, lawn decor, furniture, more…all made one by one in homes and studios. It is scary to put oneself “out there,” and it is humbling to have your creativity and work judged over and over and over. And yet there I was, with my head in the clouds.
–For all the browsers who visited my booth, thank you.
–For all the people who found my work interesting, asked questions, and offered compliments, thank you.
–For all the women who smiled and mentally “high-fived” me for naming my business Aging Schmaging, thank you.
–For all the folks who made purchases and told me to keep going, thank you, thank you, thank you. You keep me going.
–For all the women who told me their stories about life in the second-half, thank you. Â You inspire me and validate how wonderful life is each and every day. I pray I can give back as much, or more, to those needing help too.
–For the artists who share their secrets, tips, and are generous of heart, thank you.
Some of you asked where I, and my booth, will be next. On October 8th, I will be at Running Aces near Forest Lake, MN. runaces.com
Then, to get the holiday season rolling, I will be in the Spare Room in Chucker’s Bowl during Bountiful Boutiques, November 4, 5, and 6th.

Look for the Aging Schmaging flag, and the woman asking…”If I can help you…”
One more time…thank you.
