“See the world through the eyes of your inner child.
The eyes that sparkle in awe and amazement as they see love, magic and mystery in the most ordinary things.”

A leaf, curled on the road as though summer is too much.
A bee on a blossom, I dare not touch.
Fences contain both light and dark…
While keeping in Fido who tends to bark.
Some sort of bug wearing bright red…
And another insect, chewing on the unlucky, obviously well fed.
A dragonfly blue…
And a swamp with a calming view.
Today’s walk included bird songs (and screams from an angst-filled redwinged blackbird fearful I would find her nest), azure skies, the smell of cut grass, and a father teaching his son how to fly a kite. It’s incredible what surrounds us if we choose to see, and choose to be childlike in our wonder. Today was contentment with happiness sprinkles. How was your day?
