Chocolate Avocado Pudding
Some things are odd couplings, but work well. Leather and Lace. Aging rock stars and stick-thin super models. Sandals and socks. Chocolate and Avocado. Wait, what? Chocolate and Avocado?  Yep.
While not a new recipe, I wanted to share it with those of you who have not yet tried this delectable, healthy, dessert. The first time I tasted it was at my friend Eva’s house. She slyly handed me a dish of chocolate pudding while purring, “Tell me if you like it.†She watched my face as I did a yummy orgasmic thing.
Eva didn’t tell me it was made with avocados until I was shamelessly licking the last remnants off the spoon, and plate. And fingers. (I am not responsible for my manners when chocolate is involved.)
This recipe is so good, so creamy, so chocolatey-ishous, that you believe you are sinning when in fact you are eating healthy. Sure, there’s a smidge of sugar, but there are ways of getting around that if you are a purist about avoiding pleasure. (Just kidding. Sorta.)
So here’s one recipe, although you can certainly Google different versions. Let me know what you think, and/or if you too made the orgasmic face.
Healthy, delicious, no guilt, chocolate pudding? The best part of my day!
Chocolate Avocado Pudding
- 2 large avocados – peeled, pitted
-
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
-
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
Blend avocados, cocoa powder, brown sugar, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a blender until smooth. Refrigerate pudding until chilled, about 30 minutes. Important! Hide it from your family so you can eat it all! Mwhahahaha.
